Successfully completed improvement projects carry with them the obligation to provide funds to sustain new or enhanced beauty. The Trustees of the Foundation believe it to be the responsibility of the Foundation to be continually attentive to those projects in which it has participated. The Trustees have been advised by the Village that the Village will have sufficient funds under normal circumstances to meet this obligation within its Annual Budget. It is the objective of the Foundation that any future projects funded by the Foundation can be maintained by the Village in the same manner. It is therefore the goal of the Trustees to build an Endowment Fund, the income from which will be principally, but not exclusively, used to further enhance past, completed projects or for new projects.

The Trustees have established guidelines by which 80% of the income earned by the investment of the Endowment Fund may be used in support of Foundation activities as determined by the Trustees. The remaining 20% will be capitalized (reinvested).

Contributions to the Endowment Fund represent an investment in the present and future enjoyment of our Community. These contributions will substantially increase the ability of the Foundation Trustees to successfully support future improvements.
